The Los Angeles Airport Marriott

It’s only 5 minutes West of the 405 FWY and 8 minutes North of the 105 FWY.
Fans will find plenty of parking at the Marriott. There is a charge for parking, typically at a reduced rate for the convention. ASK at Loscon Registration.
The LAX Marriott boasts 3 restaurants: JW’s, serving steaks & seafood (expensive), Latitude 33 (moderate prices), themed as “tastes of the Pacific Rim”, and Champions American Sports Bar (reasonably priced menu). There’s also a Starbucks which will be open all weekend, and many restaurants, shops and eateries are a short walk away and fit just about anyone’s budget.
The Los Angeles Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention occupies the LOWER level of the hotel. You can reach it by elevator, escalator, or via the outside lower entrances (The Main Lobby is actually on an upper level, as you can see by the photo left)
