This subject is so important that GLAWS will present NINE speakers on TWO panels in succession, one of six authors and one of three industry experts who will share their experiences and views to keep you on the road to success as an author. No matter what you are writing, you must attend this important event and further your career as a writer.

He has served on the Board of Conveners for the Community Media Center of Marin, the Board of Directors of the Mountain Play Association, and is Deacon at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Tiburon, CA.

BeTheMediaMr. Mathison's BE THE MEDIA is a text and bible on how modern methods permit every person and organization to reach an audience that only a few years ago was reserved for the multi-billion dollar media conglomerates. It is a reference for uninhibited and unlimited methods that use print, computers, and the whole spectrum of devices right at hand in almost every community and household.  It shows how to spread ideas without the traditional massive presses, major networks and commercial studios."

Kathy has been fascinated by their story of science fiction turned reality and "are we alone" ever since. "Earth's Ultimate Conflict concept initially came to me in a dream that lingered in my mind for hours. With his encouragement and support Earth's Ultimate Conflict came to fruition."

Tom Ruck, Author at the Greater Los Angeles Writers SocietyTom Ruck

Late in 2004, Tom Ruck had an idea for a book to honor the American Veteran and scribbled the idea down on a cocktail napkin.  The next morning he read the napkin and decided he had to make this idea a reality and started the process of creating and publishing that idea. He created this book as a labor of love to honor the truest of American heroes, our veterans. The result of Tom’s efforts, "Sacred Ground, A Tribute to America’s Veterans," was released by Regnery Publishing and achieved a #5 ranking on Amazon in its’ category.

Acting Secretary of Veteran’s Affairs Gordon H.
