“Strategies for Self-Publishing
to the Global Market”

This is one of the most exciting times to be an author, but also one of the most confusing because there are more paths and opportunities to get published. So it is more important than ever for authors to be informed and choose the best publishing option based on their goals, skills, patience, and budget.

In his informative seminar, "Strategies for Self-Publishing to the Global Market", Keith Ogorek, self-published author and SVP of marketing at Author Solutions will clearly explain the three different publishing options for authors today and the four different paths you can pursue to get your book into the hands of readers. You will learn:

  • Advantages and drawbacks to each publishing path
  • Key questions you should ask yourself before you publish
  • 7 secrets of successful self-published authors
  • Plus much more!

If you have a manuscript you want to publish, or know someone who does, you must attend this Special Speaker Event to hear from one the leading experts in the global self publishing marketplace.

Mystery Speaker

Keith Ogorek
Senior Vice President, Global Marketing

Ogorek's career in marketing ranges from account service to creative director and vice president of new product development. Integral to the Author Solutions Inc. (ASI) executive team, Ogorek has helped the company break down the traditional barriers that once existed for authors by making book publishing accessible to everyone.

Additionally, he has been instrumental in introducing new products and services that have helped nearly 140,000 authors achieve their publishing goals, and helped ASI grow into the indie book publishing industry leader it is today.

Prior to a five year tenure as the senior vice president of marketing ASI, Ogorek has held executive positions with various organizations and advertising agencies, including St. Joesph Bank and Trust, McCaffrey and McCall, and Bates World Wide, an agency with offices in 84 countries. He later worked as a communications consultant for churches, nonprofits, agencies, and businesses, including AuthorHouse.

While at ASI, Ogorek has also participated in many industry-related thought-leadership activities, including being a featured speaker at AARP Life@50+ 2011, The San Francisco Writer’s Conference, Book Expo America, The London Book Fair, American Library Association Conference and Writer’s Digest Conference. He has been published in The Daily Caller, and writes and maintains the Indie Book Writers Blog http://www.indiebookwriters.com

His expertise stems from his professional background, and his personal experiences authoring three books, A Clear View and Eli the Stable Boy, both of which he published through AuthorHouse and 7 Secrets of Successful Self-Published Authors, which he published with Booktango.
